Poverty Of The State Of Texas And The Many Economic Issues...

Abstract This paper is over the matter of poverty in the state of Texas and the many economic issues poor Texans face, during their daily lives. It will cover the benefits that come with the major social welfare programs that attempt to positively enhance lifestyles for the poverty-stricken. Its intention is to inform you that these programs provided are put to good use and your tax money along with federal funds are not going to waste, as many citizens seem to disagree. Poverty, welfare, and health care go hand in hand. Texans who fall below the poverty line are more likely to become ill due to poor health and the quality of life they are living. Welfare seems to be the solution to this issue. Welfare provides Texans enough funds of financial assistance to provide what is barely enough for their families. There are an abundant amount of social welfare programs, to help insure a form of stability in these homes. Poverty in Texas Since the beginning of time there has been separation of economic classes; the poor, middle class, working class, and upper class. Most people are considered or identifies as middle class or the working class. The poor are people who fall below the poverty line. Middle class accounts for most people. The working class falls just below the middle class. The upper class account for a small percent of our citizens. The upper class is people whose income totals up to 150,000 or more per year.
